Generate Kinetic Profiles for Reporter Assays, BRET and RNAi in Living Cells
ViviRen™ Live Cell Substrate is a uniquely engineered coelenterazine that generates three- to fivefold brighter Renilla luciferase luminescence than wildtype coelenterazine. Using live cells, achieve up to 100-fold higher signal-to-noise ratios for super-sensitive quantitation of reporter gene, BRET and RNAi activity.
Cat.# E6491 is supplied as a liquid, 60mM in DMSO. Cat.# E6492 and E6495 are each supplied as a lyophilized solid.

Luminescence reaches near-maximum levels within minutes of ViviRen™ Live Cell Substrate or coelenterazine addition. CHO cells stably expressing Renilla luciferase were exposed to 20µM ViviRen™ Live Cell Substrate or coelenterazine approximately 1.5 minutes after continuous luminescent reading was initiated.
