Shipping and Delivery

Delivery dates shall be met as far as possible but are nonbinding. Delivery delays shall neither entitle the buyer to cancel the contract nor to claim reimbursement of damages nor to have any other claims. Only products listed in our currently valid price lists shall be deliverable. We are entitled to make partial deliveries. Every partial delivery can be invoiced separately. With products deliverable on call, the request for delivery must be made at least two weeks prior to the desired delivery date. Force majeure, business operation disruptions, labor disputes or other hindrances not caused by us or our suppliers shall exempt us from the delivery obligation for the term of the disruption and the effects thereof.

When delivery charges are prepaid and added to the invoice, the following rates apply in the US (includes freight, handling and ice, where applicable) :

A shipping and handling charge of CHF 25 will be applied to each order, with an additional CHF 35 for shipments requiring ice or dry ice.

Recyclable Packaging

We strive to use packaging materials that maximize product integrity and performance while minimizing environmental waste. All our products are packaged in highly recyclable materials, such as paper-based, unbleached cardboard.

Heat-labile products are shipped in EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam boxes, which is currently the best material for protection, durability and temperature maintenance.

Our foam box return program permits return of the boxes at no cost to you (foam boxes only). However, the fossil fuels consumed by the return of these boxes often exceeds the environmental costs associated with local recycling.
