Sephacryl® S-400

Sephacryl® S-400 is a chromatography matrix used for rapid gel filtration. This matrix is useful in experiments involving the incorporation of synthetic linkers and adaptors. After linker ligation and digestion with the appropriate enzyme, unincorporated linkers and linker fragments may be rapidly removed from the DNA sample using spin columns containing Sephacryl® S-400. Such columns may be used to separate small DNA fragments (≤271bp) from longer DNA molecules.

Composition: Suspension in 10mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0), 100mM NaCl and 1mM EDTA.
