Promega Summer Art Showcase Presents The Art of Cooking Featuring the School of Eclectic Art
MADISON, WISCONSIN (May 30, 2012)
The Promega Summer Art Showcase presents The Art of Cooking Featuring the School of Eclectic Art. The showcase will feature over 60 south-central Wisconsin artists from the art school. The exhibit will offer a variety of media including watercolor, acrylic, oil, embroidery, pastels, pencil and more. Through the vision of Mary Ann Inman and her students the passion of food and art became a reality in The Eclectic Art of Cooking cookbook. Artists contributed artwork that complemented their favorite recipe.
The showcase opens Tuesday, June 19, 2012 and continues through September 7, 2012 at the Promega BioPharmaceutical Technology Center in Madison. The exhibit is open Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm. A public art opening reception will be held on Tuesday, June 19th from 4:30pm – 6:30pm. Cookbooks will be available for sale during the reception.
