Promega Spring Art Showcase Features Mixed Greens
MADISON, WISCONSIN (February 12, 2010)
The Promega Spring Art Showcase presents "Mixed Greens". The showcase is pleased to have the South Central chapter of Wisconsin Visual Artists (WVA) exhibit the work of their members. Mixed Greens has mixed meaning - environmental, economic, food oriented, landscape oriented, realistic or abstract: all of this is conveyed through the expression works of the WVA artists. Nearly 40 local artists bring a breadth of "green" expression through every medium possible including sculpture, textiles, watercolor, oil painting, block printing, wood work, mosaic, acrylic painting, metal work, photography and printmaking.
The Mixed Greens showcase opens Tuesday, March 9, 2010 and continues through June 1, 2010 at the Promega BioPharmaceutical Technology Center in Madison. The exhibit is open Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Promega Corporation has sponsored the artist's showcase since 1996 as part of the company's commitment to creativity and innovation in the arts, cultures and sciences. The Biopharmaceutical Technology Center, located on 5445 East Cheryl Parkway two miles south of Highway 12/18 (Beltline) off Fish Hatchery Road, was developed, in part, to provide Promega employees and community members a place to pursue these goals.
